Life is just a big adventure. I retired 10 years early and three years ago now, moved from the West of England where I had lived all of my life to Glasgow. I knew nobody here and had never visited the city before. My friends thought I was mad. This has been the most wonderful 36 months of my life.

I am a complex character who values truth and honesty.
I have never married, and I am certainly not the "hunk of the month."

Meeting face to face is the only way to know if that "chemistry" is there. I am not into casual relationships, but tactile is important. A cozy evening cudled up and discussing the day is oh so important.

Actress Anna Massey once said to me in a radio interview "Life is absolutely bearable on your own. It is unbearable with the wrong companion, but it is so much richer with the right partner" - how right she was!

People watching, taking photographs with soul, writing about people, gazing into a woman's eyes and feeling that "connection." Sharing the wonderful Scottish scenery with someone special" - these are the things that ignite my soul.

I love Amsterdam, Copenhagen and New York City, but sometimes the place is unimportant. It is often not the place that matters, but who you are with.
