I have decided to re-think my approach to self-disclosure in this profile. I have previously used the approach of under promising and over delivering. I am proud of the fact that people’s opinion of me grows over time. However in this milieu humility seems not to be effective.

Therefore the truth:

I have a great sense of humour. I am honest faithful, optimistic, generous, flexible, tactile, passionate, and vital. A teddy bear sort of a guy. (very huggable)

I am intelligent. I skipped grade thirteen and completed a BA in two years at university.

I am a wonderful lover. (NO REFERENCES WILL BE PROVIDED). It is said that 90 % of men think they are above average drivers. I am sure the self-rating for lovers is considerably higher.

You can judge my appearance from the pictures but I will say that I can be displayed in public without fear of embarrassment.

You are honest, intelligent, active, engaged, curious, passionate and fun. Your opinions my not agree with mine but they are your own opinions. It is these attributes more than your natural beauty that makes you attractive.

I am interested in and enjoy many things (cross-country skiing, canoeing, badminton, laughing, singing, walking, sunrises, sunsets, good conversation, warm rain, moonlight, spirited discussions, musical theatre, live bands, most music, movies, cooking together, bridge, golf, travel to new places, cats, dogs, outdoors, walking, learning), but am very open to new interests.

I have a daughter and son both over 21 and living independently. I have great relationships with them and am very proud of the both of them.

I believe that a day that I learn something new is a day well spent. I will always seek the road less traveled.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. I am not insane.
