About Me
I outgrew the bar scene a long time ago, I still enjoy going out for a drink and dancing if I have someone to take, but I won't go to a club to try and "hook up". Been there, done that, guess I've gotten lazy. I would much prefer a nice quiet evening alone with someone special, have some drinks, watch a good movie and spend the rest of the evening curled up on the couch talking and getting to know one another. I have a verrrry quick wit and love to joke and laugh. I'm very high energy and have (at least I think) slightly above average intelligence. I'm looking for someone energetic that smiles more than they frown, and that can laugh at the worst life can hand them, including themselves. I don't like drama and don't make the time for it. I'm very direct and honest and expect the same in return. I really enjoy free-writing, I suck at it but I do enjoy it. Here's a sample of some of my ramblings.
What demons we foster without intention that corrupt our sanity and impair our judgment. We are all sinners, and in essence all have it coming. The flesh is weak and the soul corrupt. The certainty of receipt of our just rewards, for acts of kindness as well as those of malice, seems to depend more upon luck than divine providence. If God is in fact, omniscient, omnipotent, and omni benevolent, wouldn’t he be aware of the darkness we harbor within our hearts and minds, and assess each of us swiftly and accordingly?
It is my personal philosophy that heaven and hell are not saved as a reward or punishment to be dealt out to each of us in an afterlife for a lifetime of servitude to the righteousness and glory of the intention of God, or that of deviance and manipulation to facilitate our own self-serving agendas. Heaven and hell exist within each one of us and are manifested day by day and do not subsequently depend on any previous or current acts of good or evil that we have committed against ourselves or others. If heaven and hell exist on any plane, and are our inevitable destinations, I would have to surmise that heaven is a lonely place and hell is drastically over populated.
Are there those among us that are so righteous and beyond reproach that it is their duty and purpose in this realm of existence to pass judgment on others and chastise those that think differently. Many of us present a moral and socially proper image of ourselves that is used to mask the deviance that is an innate component of being human. Under the right conditions we all have the capacity to conceptualize some type of justification of the commitment of atrocities toward our fellow man. Is there truly any such thing as justifiable homicide? If God does exist in the manner in which we are taught throughout our lifespan, one would like to believe that, inevitably, all of mankind will be judged and sentenced accordingly, either within this existence or that infinite destination that is supposed to follow our demise.
Justice is a fallible concept that is applied swiftly to the disadvantaged or helpless, while the privileged, or those considered to be in the inner circle, are allowed to buy their way out of trouble, or are ignored completely due to their achieved status. Priests covet alter boys, police ignore or hide known crimes committed by their brethren, evangelists ask those less fortunate for money in the name of God, and we all stand by helplessly as these inequities continue to become an acceptable circumstance of society. Everything seems to be upside down, and until they are righted, we are destined to continue in the downward spiral of the holding pattern we are engulfed in.
Within each of us lie the seeds of greatness and the potential for unfathomable good. I cannot believe that lives are intentionally wasted on folly, I feel rather that our individual paths are overgrown and masked, and those that accomplish great things were somehow able to see through the fauna to the trail that is their destiny. We all have the keys to all the doors of our existence, some of us however open the ones that seek to distract or destroy us. Perhaps it is how we choose to test our survivability or endurance.

First Date
depends on the people involved,I guess the perfect scenario would be a nice long walk near some water and a blanket to relax on afterward to have a****ail on and just stare up at the stars and talk, doesn't really matter to me as long as there is communication, always up for a challenge though I don't rattle or scare easily.
