I like to play tennis and go fishing and boating on Lake Travis. I like going to the Texas coast occasionally to fish or walk on the beach. I enjoy traveling. There are a lot of places I would like to see someday. I enjoy watching UT football on TV, but don't follow other sports, except for tennis. I usually watch the big tennis tournments. I enjoy taking walks on hike and bike trails in the area. I have been snow skiing several times....once to Crested Butte, Colorado, Santa Fe,NM, and Big Bear, California. I enjoyed it every time and hope to go again. I've gone snorkeling in Cozamel and Cancun. I spent a couple of weeks in the Czech Republic a few years ago.
I've been to Boston for one vacation. I've been to California many times on different vacations. San Franciso and Yosmine National Park are cool places to visit.

I enjoy going to movies and dining out. Asian food is my favorite, but I like Bar-B-Que places, Mexican and Italian food. There are a lot of great places to eat in Austin. I enjoy listening to live music and there is plenty to be found around here.

As far as musical interests. I like all kinds of music, except rap and opera. Some of my favorive artists are Robert Earl Keen, Lucinda Williams, Delbert McClinton, Alison Krauss, David Byrne. I like the old country and the old rock and roll. Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, The Stones, the Beatles, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Del McCoury, John Fogerty, Janis Joplin, B-52's, BB King. I like to sing, mostly to my dog. He seems to enjoy it.

I'm hoping to meet a woman with a sense of humor and likes dogs. I prefer women who are height/weight proportionate. If you can make me laugh and I can make you laugh, we can figure out the rest as we go along.

I was born in Shiner, Texas where the beer comes from. I grew up in a small town called Moulton. It's about 80 miles south-east of Austin. I grew up raising cattle, and riding horses. I worked my way thru college at UT and got a business degree. I worked for the IRS in Austin for 20 years, and one year with Dell Computer. For the last 5 years I've been selling real estate around Austin, I'm full-blooded Czech and third generation Texan.
