Hi, nice cheesy headline I know!!! a little about me, I am thoughtful,considerate, caring, genuine and honest. I have never cheated on anyone in my life, guess I'm just not wired up that way. I give a lot to a relationship and would hope that it's not too much to ask to feel that I'm getting the same in return. I am divorced with 2 children both of whom live with their mum. My daughter stays with me every other weekend, my son pops in as and when he feels like it!! My job is physically very demanding, I also enjoy going to the gym, so sorry no 'middle aged spread' just yet! I like to go walking, on the beach, through a forest, up a mountain.... wherever really. I spent 13 years as a soldier so have travelled to some very odd places also spent time as a fitness/bodybuilding instructor. As I joined up at a young age I never extended my education past 6th form but would like to think I could hold a decent conversation on most subjects.
I enjoy cooking, in fact Im very domesticated, I even put the seat down!
I would like to travel to Egypt (just to see the pyramids), to South America (same reason) and to Australia, hopefully to be on or at Ayres rock at sunset with a nice glass of red.
I have a very keen if sometimes very dry sense of humour,blame 'blackadder' and 'monty python' etc for that. I don't take myself or life too seriously,just try to enjoy it for what it is. I need help with the important questions in life like... why is orange jam called marmalade, why is the sea saltwater when all the rivers that run into it are fresh? would a one legged duck swim round in circles, that kind of thing. Music wise, I will listen to anything by anybody if I like it, I like it, if I don't well you can guess the rest.
For some strange reason I seem to be a pet magnet so if you have any I'll be the one buried underneath them.
I do enjoy going out to restaurants and quiet pubs etc, not a fan of busy pubs and clubs. Also love cozy evenings in with a decent film, a bottle of wine and some munchies.

For me a perfect first date would be to just go for a stroll along a deserted beach, stop at a nice pub, away from the crowds and just get to know each other.
