My name is Garry and I am 48. I am pretty much a vegetarian, like to think I am kind, friendly lighthearted where ever possible. I try reasonably hard to keep fit - you have to when you are an old git. I imagine I am quite fun to be with but I am not loud and in fact I am quite domesticated and manage to do my own cleaning etc and feed the cat myself, although he would say I am not that good at either - but he lies.
By profession I am a self employed photographer which is all changing in the area I work in and a lot of my time is taken up at the moment with that. Apart from animals I would say I am broadminded. Re music I like anything heavy and some dance music but it's not that important to me these days.
I used to be into motorbikes (still have one) but kept falling off so with that and me going to motorhead concerts in my younger days I am now down to my last 3 brain cells (only born with 5 anyway:)).
My goal is to make lots of money, settle down with someone I love and have a wonderful life in a house in the country which I am working on, but until that happens I would like to meet an amusing and hopefullly attractive lady to see what develops :). For a first dat I think the best option is to go for a quiet drink in a nice pub to talk and get to know each other, meals are a little too formal for a first date and I am a messy eater. We can always get a bag of chips on the way home.
