First and for most I am a totally hopeless romantic, I enjoy surprising someone I care about with flowers, random phone calls, random picnics or surprise visits at work. I enjoy reading fantasy novels, taking pictures, going to zoos and aquariums and just spending time outdoors or hanging around with friends. I also won't lie, I enjoy playing video games at times too, it is a nice way to let the mind wander, and a fun way to play with your friends. I currently am working on getting accepted to grad school in marine ecology and hope that I will getting into a program within a year.
I am a good person at heart I truly enjoy the art of conversation and find that a intelligent conversation is on of the most enjoyable things to do. That being said I also enjoy silly arguments (as long as both sides know it is for fun) as well. I believe that no matter how old you are you are always a kid at heart, and sometimes you need to let the kid run around and have fun.
I am not someone who is into one night stands and such, I am much more of a relationship minded individual, who believes that it takes work from both sides to make it work. I tend to be a bit on the stubborn side but I am always willing and ready to talk it out and comprise.
I am a positive, empathic person who cares about others feelings, but can get a little frustrated with overly negative people.
As for my taste in music I enjoy most styles of music, except hard core rap, and very bouncy pop songs. My particular favorite is hard to pin down, but I would lean to folk and 80's rock.

For a first date I would go down to the Seattle water front, and start with a day at the aquarium; followed by lunch at the pike place market and then spend a little time walking around the waterfront. Then we would ride the ferry across to one of the islands for a quite dinner, and hopefully watch the sunset from the ferry.
