My name is Brian, Im a truck driver, 32 yrs old, I enjoy many things such as concerts, watching a good movie, having a good laugh, being around my awesome friends, my loyal family, and I enjoy shooting pool, going to baseball games in the summer, watching football in the winter, playing poker and just trying to enjoy life in general. Ive lived a few places, but most of my life in indiana, born and raised, so ya, i know how we do it here and im totally ok with that. I enjoy bonfires, campfires, camping and also love to travel. Love being outdoors in the summer, especially in the evening and early morning hours. I'm laid back for the most part, friendly and trusting(sometimes to a fualt even). I'm usually the one with the good advice, that when asked, will say what needs to be said, nothing more, nothing less. Whether you use the advice or not, thats on you(kinda freaky like The Oracle on The Matrix). You can lead a horse to water, cant make it drink! I'm not very shy, I dont hold back much and will introduce myself depending on how i feel that particular moment of that particular day. If the mood strikes me, i roll with it. Kinda been the story of how i go about life really, I roll with the flow and make my presence known. I can be moody sometimes, but a good majority of my time is spent smiling, joking, thinking, and planning lol. I've always got to have something to do because it drives me nuts to be bored, ironically i enjoy time on the couch too tho. My favorite things to do are almost all summertime events. Baseball games, bonfires, and concerts! Even if its just to go "people watching." Its interesting and fun just to go watch other peoples reactions to things you like. And people are wierd in their own ways, its fun to see the differences in people. Sometimes you get a great laugh, a small memory, or if your adventurous, a new friend. You just never know what the world has in store for you until you look back on it all. So make the best of it right? To get right down to brass tacks, I'm looking for someone that i can TRULY get to know, someone that isnt afraid to go out on a limb from time to time. I go the extra mile, so i expect the same in a partner. I'm the type of person, that likes to shower with gifts, flowers, jewelry, even cards and notes. I guess my momma taught me well, some women like it, some dont. Its a good thing I'm adaptable! I was married for 7 yrs, with the woman for 8, no children thank god with her thank god. It was one of those relationships that, when it was good, it was out of this world, which was most of the time, literally. But when it was bad, well, lets just say that in 8 yrs, it was only bad twice, but people do bicker from time to time, we're not perfect by any means. I will smile and walk away from a fight before i'll sit there and argue. Unless of course, its something that is so very important, make sure the juice is worth the squeeze tho, pick your battles. I once heard something in a movie that suits life: Its not to reason why, its just to do and die. Its alot to take in, so think about it, ask questions, and feel free to re-read at your convenience. Its been some years since I was on the single scene, and wow has it changed. Dont be surprised if I show with flowers, its a great icebreaker. A walk is always good, something interactive. Not a movie on a first date, or ANY date, unless of course it gets to dinner at my/your place for a nice quiet evening in, after some dates of course. Now, out on a date in public, after the walk or whatever, I would definately like to start out with a couple drinks, I find that it loosens people up and they are more likely to talk, me included. I hate first dates because there is always so much pressure to make a good impression, the way i see it, you wouldnt be on a date period though if you dont make a good first impression, kinda wierd because it still makes me nervous. At any rate, after drinks, maybe shoot a couple games of pool so i can let you win and feel good about yourself, or darts so i can get sympathy because i suck at darts, then maybe some air hockey, or go bowling, or whatever. Im not much of a dancer, although i have on occasion cut a rug, i can slow dance just like any other guy can that doesnt like to dance tho. I would end the date by dropping you off at home, or maybe taking a taxi, depending on how the evening goes. Oh ya, did we eat? Well, that should be in there somewhere because i hate drinking on an empty stomach. I'm kind of a texas roadhouse guy, or chilis, or any steakhouse to be honest! I am however willing to compromise as i do enjoy Italian food and sometimes Mexican food on a first date. I REFUSE FLAT OUT to do fast food or pizza! I want a real meal, and I'm sure you ladies want to be shown a great time, you can get fast food and pizza on your own so pfffft! BDubs is ok maybe, just depends on the date, the weather, and the time of year! I dont like big rowdy crowds when I'm on a date. Cant focus on the date with neanderthals howling! Anyway, thats a date to be determined, and with whom is also tbd.
