I am me...that's it. Some like it. Most won't, but at my age I really can't be bothered to try to please everybody, so I just try to please those I care about. If you can't deal with that, you'd probably find it best to keep looking elsewhere. For those who aren't afraid of that, continue reading.

I'm old enough to know what it is that I can't accept, but still optimistic enough to retain an open mind. A divergence of opinions doesn't bother me. The unwillingness to at least hear another opinion does. I do not "tolerate" things or people - I accept them for what they are and work to change any situations that need or could use improvement.

I'm employed in a career I love. At my job, I spend my days telling people where to go, or they tell me where they're going. I work a job several friends have said they would not take at twice my salary because of what I deal with on a daily basis.

I also enjoy several musical leanings. While I used to play and write in bands, I now play for my own enjoyment and relaxation. Something easy going. We're meeting for the first time, so why put unnecessary pressure on ourselves or each other? I think both parties should just be themselves. If things work out, great. If not, it was what it was - which is just fine, too.
